New build residential housing scheme. Liberata delivered architectural services, contract management and quantity surveying for the regeneration of the Whitefield Conservation area in Nelson on behalf of Pendle Borough Council.
Former terraced housing had been cleared to provide new contemporary housing and public amenity space. The form of the houses embraced the massing and street pattern of the adjacent terraced housing blocks . Externally the houses respected the style adjacent houses within the conservation, but with a contemporary twist . Buff textured brick was chosen as the main material with recessed brickwork feature panels above the entrance doors to add some visual interest. The houses offered modern living and were equipped with rear private gardens and off road rear secure private parking.
