Residential refurbishment and new build residential housing scheme. Liberata delivered architectural services, contract management and quantity surveying for the regeneration of the Whitefield Conservation area in Nelson on behalf of Pendle Borough Council.
Our designs included innovative ‘two into one’ houses, involving the conversion of Victorian terraced housing into modern, warm houses with facilities such as wet rooms to meet the demands of modern living. The properties were sensitively refurbished with timber sliding sash double glazed windows, new natural slate roofing and existing stonework sandblasted and repointed.
This project included conversion of former water board offices into a business hub which was nominated for awards with RTPI and RICS.
